World Championship Wrestling, 1993 – In what would assuredly be a dream match a few years later, three future (and one likely eventual) Hall Of Famers took part in one match. On the November 13th 1993 edition of WCW Saturday Night, then World Champion Vader teamed with Stunning Steve Austin, who was about two and a half years away from becoming “Stone Cold”. They would face the unlikely babyface team of “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair and “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson.
This match was originally supposed to be Flair teaming with Sid Vicious (who had recently turned babyface and split from Vader). However an attack on Sid left him unable to compete. As a result, longtime Horseman Anderson stepped in to take Sid’s place.
Tony Schiavone and Jesse “The Body” Ventura call the action.
