Powerless 2017

This comedy on NBC snuck in quietly. The premise is a girl is hired to work as a Manager for a Product Design team for Wayne Enterprises.  Her boss is Bruce's cousin.  The products they create are to protect ordinary citizens from the damage of a Hero/Brilliant fight. 


Sort of funny, sort of stupid. 


I don't expect it to make it past one season.

That sounds like a genius concept.

Would love to know what product could have protected citizens from the throwdown in Man of Steel.  :)

Saw the first episode. Wasn't hilarious, didn't suck, haven't made up my mind but I'll keep watching for now

Watching it on On Demand now.

Already, a JAB AT FLYOVER STATES!  These Chicago (It's where most of them live) script writers are so predictible.. Like Super Heroes would restrict themselves to big cities and ignore flyovers. (They actually DO do this in Marvel, where everything happens in New York, but not so much in DC.)

After the end of the show, it sarcastically says "Heh.  That's funny."

IT KNOWS IT'S NOT FUNNY!

Seriously, it feels like an 80's sitcom.  Trying way too hard, and all the subtlety of a hammer.  Only a step up from Two Broke Girls imo.

They aired a new episode last week.  The show is cancelled and will not return.


I think normally they wouldn't have played it but this one was had a special guest star.


Adam West was on it and for a man in his late eighties, he did awesome.


There's some old Batman rhetoric here and there.


It's definitely worth 20 or so minutes of your life.


It was a nice way to say goodbye.

It's not On Demand with my service yet (They're really proving to be spotty/unreliable with that.  Just like last service.)

Heard it was on Hulu for a limited time, but only for Plus members (And apparently ONLY plus app's are on devices like an Xbox.)

But got lucky and found a review that pointed right at it on Youtube.

Wost case, I have the Youtube vid (Because for some reason, streaming was incredibly laggy across all sites, yet download speeds were fast.)

Can maybe figure out a way to get it to you.
