There's another thing I'm finding:

The fact Mon-El needs Kara to help navigate social norms is considered a burdon on Kara. 

It's basically the old "it's not my responsibility to teach you". They don't want someone that's willing to grow, they just want a ready made "peer" who they could live their life with.

It's an impossible standard that lets them play victim at every angle (The privilege take their privilege for granted vs the privileged expects me to waste my time explaining his privilege to him!)

All I really hear from that is "Gotta get angry at someone, and this sounds like a good excuse.."

Watching Supernatural and saw a commercial for Supergirl. Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor makes me glad I quit watching

He was actually a pretty good Lex.  Biggest issue is while he played the part personality and mannerism extremely well you were still looking at Jon Cryer.
