Title: Embedded YouTube videos
Post by: FreebirdSTF on February 06, 2011, 04:48:56 PM
This isn't a major issue at all, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.  I'm using IE 9 Beta (which is why I don't consider this a real problem) and I cannot view embedded YouTube videos on this board.  I'm using the recommended Flash setup for IE 9 Beta btw.  The odd thing is that I just noticed I can view embedded YouTube videos on Deadspin.com.

I'm kind of perplexed and while it's not an actual problem (I could use Firefox for the boards on this machine), I would really like to resolve this just for my own curiousity.

Sorry, totally missed this.

I'm not using IE9 beta yet (I mean to, just haven't gotten around to it yet), but I've been reading that there's an issue with the Flash player that occurs on some sites, and the resolution was to update the Flash player.

So, other than offering that, sorry, I can't help much. I'd check for updates to Flash, and I'll keep checking to see if I can find anything.

Cool, I think I have the latest and greatest Flash Player at this point.  Hopefully it sorts itself out in the future.
