Keepers have been set and finalized in the first two rounds of the draft. Draft order is set correctly based off of 2011 final standings. Draft is set to start at 10pm CT tonight.

There are options available that I have sent in an email to the league that would allow us to reset the draft. Oh, and I also appreciate EVERYONE using the email feature from the league homepage to answer questions and be involved. Sorry I couldn't cater the league to you.
i am autopicking my team at this point, but i don't want to run my team this year. good luck guys.

Just walked in the door from a meeting that was sprung on me at the last minute. Apologies to all for missing the draft. Not sure what happened with the keepers though. If everyone wants, we can scrap the league.
Edit: There is an option to reset the draft and redo. Can everyone within 24 hours let me know if this is a valid option and what day they can do the draft on?

« on: August 28, 2012, 04:00:09 PM »Sorry to be a pain, but I just remembered that two of the managers in the league, Dastardly Cads and mashers, are guys I invited to join the league a couple seasons ago and aren't affiliated with A1. DC just messaged me asking if he could select his keepers, so apparently he was unaware of the deadline for doing this. Promo, is there any way you can connect with him and find out his keepers, finalizing them ahead of the draft? I don't know about mashers - he might have taken care of this already, but if not, he might need to connect with you as well.I just sent an email to the league to have their keepers finalized tonight by 11pm ET. It gives that information on the league page, so everyone should know, and I had already extended it to yesterday, but I did extend to today again to give them a chance. Draft is scheduled for tomorrow night.

Thanks to whoever sent me the email about changing the keepers deadline since I also changed the draft date. Will adjust the keeper deadline in a minute.
We still have two teams that haven't responded, so I'll start the waiting list here and give the owners another week or so to accept back into the league.

2. We are at 9 of 12 teams signed up from last year. We're still missing Wishful Thinking, Sharks w/Arms, and APL-3. Do we need to start looking for replacement owners?
3. Any scoring changes that need to be looked at for this season or is everyone pretty happy with the way things are?
4. Should we expand keepers from 2? If so, how many?

And it's not really fair to expect Jericho to know which lines he can and can't cross (Given how much time workers spend on the road, unable to even see their family, let alone bone up on the do's and don't's of each country they visit..) in a business that's all about crossing lines...
Someone in management, who's job it is to keep up on this kind of thing, dropped the ball, and as usual the employee pays for it.
Seriously, you think that if there wasn't some unimportant staffer that could be blamed for this, that they wouldn't fire that person rather than suspend Jericho? I'm sure that WWE has people responsible for briefing the wrestlers on protocol for visiting other countries. Whether or not disrespecting the Brazilian flag was something that would be flagged to warn the wrestlers about, I'm not sure. Looks to me like Jericho simply did his thing, unknowingly crossed a line, and now Vince & Co. are fixing the situation. Jericho goes away for awhile, just like others have said, and shows back up around Summerslam.

A&E cancels "Breakout Kings" just a few weeks after the season 2 finale has aired. Co-creator and showrunner Matt Olmstead will move over to NBC to be in charge of their new firefighter show "Chicago Fire"
I really liked Breakout Kings. I caught it startng with season 2 and went back and watched season 1 on Netflix.

R.I.P. Mitchell Guist. He was one of the two brothers on Swamp People who they showed that didn't hunt gators, but lived entirely off the land. Apparently had a seizure and fell in (or off?) his boat.
