First black World Champion for WWE. Also held the WCW Tag titles a record 10 times with brother Stevie Ray. Introduced the "Legends" title to TNA, and is recognized as the inaugural champion. The Legends title would eventually morph into the TNA TV Title.

Held over a dozen regional and independent titles. Had an astounding 50 year in-ring career, wrestling his final match at the age of 72. One of the pioneers of using foreign objects, and causing blood on himself and opponents. As a result, inspired what became known as the hardcore style. Holds victories over Bruno Sammartino, Andre The Giant, Whipper Billy Watson, and Lou Thesz.
