Alright hoopleheads - Deadwood returns tomorrow night with a two-hour movie. Takes place in 1889 - roughly a decade after the events of Season Three have concluded. Al Swearengen returns as the owner of the Gem - we last left him in a testy alliance with Sheriff Seth Bullock. At the close of Season Three, Alma Garrett had sold her gold claim to George Hearst as had left Deadwood. Hearst also departed after being shot and wounded by Trixie, a former whore in Al's employ. To save Trixie's life, he sacrificed one of his other blonde whores to satisfy Hearst and prevent further bloodshed.
