Probably Barbara, because non comic readers would know who she is.

Also, Cass doesn't really talk or do relationship drama.

I heard they brought her back.

But it's hard to keep track of all the reboots/retcons.  That Convergeance thing says it all, they turned their broken continuity into a massive Hunger Games like free for all.

WB Exec 1: So we're going to make a Batgirl movie.
WB Exec 2: Who we going to get to direct it?
WB Exec 3: It needs to be somebody who knows comics and does well with strong female characters.
WB Exec 1: I've heard good things about Joss Whedon for those scenarios and he did wonders for Marvel.  We should work with him
