Brock vs. Lesnar may be a decent match but no one gives a shit about it and it's not right that Roman main events his 4th straight Wrestlemania. Not even Hogan or Rock or Austin or Cena did that. I just don't see it closing out a show to a chorus of boos and apathy. So, what replaces it?

I would've suggested AJ/Shinsuke but that's not even the main event of their own show. So, only options I see are Daniel Bryan's return or Cena/UT and I give the slight nod to Cena/UT. Match quality aside, it's a big name match that the fans will want to see.....until about 6 minutes in.

They may go with Bryan's return though to guarantee a big spectacle to end the show with the fans going crazy.

It's not gonna be AJ/Nakamura, even though it'll probably be the best match. If it were up to me it'd be Cena/Taker, but I can also see the mixed tag closing the show since the goal is to present Ronda as an A-List player.

On Smackdown for the last few weeks at least every time they talk about the AJ/Nakamura match they say they're going to face in "the main event at WM".

While that could be just noise, I've heard no such claims over on RAW.

I'm thinking the last 4 matches are Cena/UT, then Brock/Roman, then the mixed tag gets the filler between the two championship matches, and finally AJ/Nakamura.

I have no problem with the Universal title match being the main event either though.

It needs to be Aj/Nakamura. You gave the Rumble win to an outsider and foreigner to set up a match purely on wrestling.


People still cheer Brock when he beats down Reigns. It’s going to get booed when Reigns wins when Brock raises his hand.


Cena/Taker can’t close because your devalue both championships. And Daniel Bryan’s first match back can’t be the main event either.

I am leaning towards Cena/UT more and more. Reigns/Lesnar just has no heat to it, fans can't wait to boo Roman's win. Cena/UT is a safe bet, AJ/Shinsuke is the peoples choice that will blow the roof off but I don't see Vince doing it.

Crowd will be exhausted after the Bryan match though, so the ordering will be tricky.

The build to Cena Taker is just Cena though. I think there’s very little momentum to that match. The Rousey match has more build than what Cena has been doing

Yeah, that is entirely possible. Has a Wrestlemania main event ever gotten "Boring" chants before? It might have with Roman/HHH and that heatless mat wrestling affair that took 95 minutes.

They value the Raw title more than the Universal Title. I see it going AJ/Nak, then Reigns/Lesnar, then UT/Cena, then Bryan.


If you put Bryan on anywhere other than last, the crowd spends all their energy on that match and the rest of the night the crowd is dead.

Because Roman is smaller than Seth Rollins, the vest hides his smaller physique. By no means is he James Ellsworth, but Nevelle was far more jacked than Roman is. It would expose him.

I think Brock vs Reigns goes on last.  Their match 3 years ago was great.  I think tonight could be just as good.
