"To lose weight don't eat after 8 PM".

Two problems

1. Some idiot who doesn't wake up till 1 because of their job will literally only eat a couple and maybe only one meal because they think "can't eat anymore because Dr. Oz said eating after 8 pm keeps me fat".

2. And this is the biggest, it's all about being in a caloric deficit. Your body isn't going to say "Fantastic Marty, you're in a caloric deficit. What's that, it's 8:15. Take that fat boy".

That's all crap. Under our plan where I'm eating 6 times a day, I have some protein and a little bit of carbs about a couple hours before I go to bed, regardless of what time that may be. Keeps the metabolism working overnight. I think my plan calls for a tuna sandwich (no mayo, brown bread) at this time.

I eat every 2.5-3 hours, starting whenever I wake up, regardless of the time.

That's a good plan.  Oz basically gives out advice for the masses, shit that would work for someone who has no clue what they are doing.  His advice is catered to the 9-5 crowd.

Thing is you just don't hear this from Oz either. You hear this shit from guys at the gym too as I'm sure you can attest to pebble. Typical old fashioned bro science
