ANDERSON SILVA

Anderson Silva is currently in his fourth year reigning as UFC Middleweight champion, and is the longest reigning chamion of any kind in the promotions history. With 12 consecutive wins, he not only has the longest active streak in UFC, but holds the record for the most consecutive wins in UFC history. He holds a black belt in Jiu Jitsu and is considered (pound for pound) to be the greatest fighter in the world by multiple fighting publications. While it is rumored that he has the ability to devour opponents souls after victory (thus becoming more powerful after each fight) he has yet to display this ability publicly...

Apollo Creed (1943-1985) was at one time the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World. He was played by Carl Weathers.

Creed had multiple nicknames, including The Master of Disaster, The King of Sting, The Dancing Destroyer, and The Count of Monte Fisto. Creed held the Heavyweight Championship  through much of the 1970's. In 1976, while preparing for a highly publicized title defense in conjunction with the bicentennial celebration in Philadelphia, Creed suddenly found himself without an opponent. Desperate for a substitute on short notice, the promoters booked Rocky Balboa, a little-known and only moderately successful fighter in the Philadelphia club circuit. Creed did not consider Balboa a serious challenger, and so did not train seriously for the fight, and ended up barely eking out a victory over Balboa in a split decision.

Still champion but subjected to ridicule for his inability to score a decisive victory over so unworthy an opponent as Balboa, Creed challenged Balboa to a rematch. This time Creed trained seriously, but so did Balboa, and their rematch was a well-fought, pretty evenly matched contest that ended with Balboa knocking out Creed at the end of the final round to take the championship. Following that fight, Creed retired.
