I wonder what you would have done had he said something actually offensive.

We're all human, you made a mistake.  I hope you learned a valuable lesson.

Good journey.  :drink_mini:

I work with Zandrax.  Tech Support call center.  Incident got swept under the rug as nobody actually got hurt.

All your responses btw are quiet entertaining  :laugh_mini:

*shrug* Wouldn't know.  We handle different accounts from each other mostly so we hardly ever cross paths in terms of work.  We sit in the same cubical section though

Never.  We keep our phones on vibrate so that customer's don't think we're dicking around not doing our jobs when texts or calls come in to our personal phones

Uhh, bunch of us are starting up a document where we're going transcribe word for word some of the dumb shit the new co-workers we've gotten have said about loving the job and place to make fun of them with in a few months when they start despising their job

If an unrung phone has a lightsaber ringtone, does it really have a lightsabre ringtone at all?

Outside of work I might have supported your reaction..

So if he socked his friend in the gut, as long as it happened outside the work place, you'd be ok with it?  :D

Not sure if serious? :scratch_one-s_head_mini:

If being sarcastic all I got to say I guess is I'm just furious at how people treat any military or ex-military personnel at times.  Having a friend say what he did got me really pissed and enraged.  Realized what I did was likely to cost my job but you know, heat of the moment rage and all that.

I understand how you feel, but the "military is bad" thing is a pretty common trope.  You'll get your General Ross far more often than your General Leonidas, for example.  It's cheap, lazy drama to put in an evil military antagonist.

Only thing for it is to try and let it roll off your back, and realize most of the people who badmouth military never served, and probably have a thing against authority in general..

when you say you attacked him, do you mean physically? because that would pretty much confirm my opinion of military guys in general.

A military of librarians would probably not punch you in the face over an argument, but lets see them protect us from the terrorists.   :biggrin_mini2:

^_^  Hey, shit happens.

Being 100% honest, I think you overreacted..  But I've done stupid stuff myself.  It happens, and life goes on..

And personally, I'll take a good friend that overreacts at something and hits me in the face one time in a 20 year friendship over something stupid, over an anal retentive passive aggressive pussy that that cries victim the moment someone's had enough of their crap and puts hands on them...
