Street Figher III on Live

Anyone planning on getting this?

I may get it, maybe, just to play as Alex again.

They put Yun in SF4AE, but neglect Alex, who was only the main character of III, and a professional wrestler from New York.  :D

Guess I'll ask this here, instead of spamming up the board with new threads:

Debating between Marvel vs Capcom 3, and Mortal Kombat Komplete edition.  Both are about the same price...

Which is the best bang for buck/better overall experience, without factoring in online play.

If its MvC 3 and not ultimate, then MKKomolete. If its Ultimate MvC 3 then go with that.

Tough call.  As said if it's just regular MvC3 then go with MK:K.  If it's UMvC3 though it is a tough call.  I never carried for the MK Series but apparently the story mode in this is FANTASTIC.  It's a fighting game that actually puts effort into making a clear concise story that can be followed.  DoA5 did the same thing.  I also heard the game mechanics have also been changed up a bit to.

At this point I personally prefer MK, but MK will get you more bang for your buck too. They pack the modes.

Ended up going with MK Komplete, and I am NOT disappointed.

The story mode is indeed fantastic.  Almost like playing a movie.  And it has good nostalgic value, but the timeline variations keep it fresh.

And the gameplay!  I didn't like any of the MK's since Deadly Alliance..  None of them really felt like Mortal Kombat to me.  But this is the first MK game since the original three that feels like a Mortal Kombat game.

I'll be picking up Ultimate MvsC 3 down the line, probably.  Hopefully the netcode is better then MK, which is its worst feature and results in frequent disconnects.
