Apparently, NCAA's actions have finally caught up to them. They are NOT a branch of the government, they are simply a governing body whose purpose is to ensure that student-athletes are not taking money while they are students and the universities are not fostering an environment where that behavior is encouraged. They were strick with universities asking for leniency, imposed fines, vacated Bowl wins & championships (USC, Penn State, Miami, etc.), yet the NCAA wants the same done for them?
 
I hope the NCAA gets disbanded and/or Emmert is forced to resign.

I know....but it would bring the scrutiny on NCAA's actions instead of on the schools the NCAA investigates. If it is proven that there is a pattern of behavior by the NCAA regarding their enforcement of their rules, then it might overrule all the 'death penalties,' Bowl & championship vacancy and problems for the schools involved (if they are willing to fight it after that happens).
