I just hate how I can dominate either of those matches but then the CPU gets some cheap escape or is able to pull down the title all of the sudden.  It feels cheap.  I think you said it best, they are a chore to play moreso than being fun.

A little.  The Ladder match is more of a chore to play, then fun.

Inferno match is the worst though.

Inferno has always been terrible. I understand that this year you can skip it in Universe and not have it show up every PPV till you play it.

Downloaded the Dec. round of DLC guys. Some awesome moves in there, but I haven't gotten to try the characters out yet.

Interestingly enough, Ryback's finisher is incomplete. Instead of using a fisherman's lift, he starts with a rack lift. Which is weird. He's been using that an awful long time. You'd think they'd have gotten it right.

I had to try a couple of different times to download the DLC.  I forgot to turn off Auto-Save the last time so it reset my Stables and Superstars Threads, etc.  I have to recreate them now, but I didn't have time to do much with that yesterday.  I also have to redo my rosters for Universe mode as everyone went back to their default roster.

On the plus side, I now have the AWA World Title as my secondary belt on SmackDown and the WCW US Title as my secondary belt on RAW.  When I have a member of the nWo win the World Title I will substitute the regular one with the nWo one.

So I'm now reading that they did the mocap for Ryback's finisher prior to his debut -- and that he was using this variation on the Shell Shock at house shows.

I've abandoned my Universe Mode, because nothing was happening (THANKS, PAUL HEYMAN).

I have since discovered the joys of the King of the Ring tournament.  I'm doing a 16-man tournament in an old school WWF arena.

Chris Jericho and Christian just had a first round match that was better than any WWE televised match this year.  The crowd heat was unbelievable from start to finish.  Jericho was covered in blood by the time this one was over.  The near falls were incredible.  It was a rocketbuster!

Christian managed to win in a big upset...though now he has to face Brock in the second round.

The winner of this thing is getting the WWF Title.

I hate how it books guys twice on the same card.  Bret Hart (c) took on Christian for the World Title and Christian (c) took on Bret Hart for the AWA World Title for example.

What arena do you use for Universe mode? Did you create your own?

I went with RAW and SmackDown since they were the defaults.  I'm considering adding an ECW show in the middle of the week right now and making it its own brand with belts and everything just to mix things up.

There are some really good ECW arenas in the creative suite

The moves pack is pretty sweet. You get all sorts of cool stuff like Generico's turnbuckle brainbuster, Chuck Taylor's Omega Driver and God's Last Gift.

Just starting playing this again last night.  I felt that Sandow and Cesaro deserved a better run before WWE 2k14.

I've decided to try to set up my own fantasy booking and reset my Universe to start over. I just can't bring myself to spend the $20 on the Fax Axxess, but I'd love to have the locked content.
