So this looks pretty much like what we feared.

which is?

One liners, explosions, and Will Smith just being Will Smith.

And hey, maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm still not keen on that Joker.

well, it is a trailer.  they have to make it appeal to the vapid masses and their tiny attention spans.  At least the movie isn't taking itself too seriously...I think they're going more for a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe, and less of a Captain America:  Civil War vibe.  Which is probably smart for this type of movie

What were they supposed to put in a trailer?

I just found it to be too generic. Again, maybe it's just me.

Crazy Train does retort me quite well at 12:31 http://a1-wrestling.com/podcast/geekville/geekville_ep126.mp3

The animated flick "Batman:  Assault on Arkham" is essentially Suicide Squad the animated movie.  Horribly named, really.

And it's good.  Deadshot's the real star.

Based on set photos, I think they're borrowing story beats from the animated film.

Deadshot being likable and possible hero of the group, plus a relationship with Harley. His daughter being the good in him, despite being a killer.

Joker being the main mission of the film.

Batman being in the background of the film.
