Topic: What would wrestling be like right now if WCW had won the Monday Night Wars?

Let's say that WCW had won the Monday Night Wars and WWE was forced to go out of business (and in 1995 and 1996, there was actually a real danger of WWE going out of business believe it or not according to Vince McMahon himself).


Would WCW still be in business today if that had happened?


Or would they themselves have folded sometime in the mid 00's? What do you think would've happened?

I know you're being sarcastic, but hell, look at what they did when they were in charge of TNA, some other form of the nWo, just different names.

Most of the run of TNA has just been a cluster.  I've tried and tried to watch and it's always a mess.  They have had IMO some good wrestling, but it's hard to watch with all the 'stuff' going on.
 
I really hope when they get a new network and reboot, they will be better.

Assuming WCW didn't get canceled, I think Vince gets hired by Turner Vince eventually gets control and runs the show.

I agree with Zandrax give or take a few details of how it would unfold.

I wish WCW would have ran with some of the ideas they had. Some of them predated what the WWF and ECW did with the same ideas (I said some...not all). The WWF gets credit for them because they did them right. For instance, WCW had what was a pretty innovative idea at the time in that whole DDP/Badd/Kimberly angle so they did the DDP/Badd/Kimberly angle. But the WWF did the GOLDUST/PILMMAN/TERRI angle lol! Then there were the ones that were just abandoned like the Ric Flair heart attack angle. People laugh and/or snicker about it now but that was 1 intense 10 minutes that night lol! THEN there were the ones that never happened like the NWO vs the 4 Horsemen on New Years Eve of 1999. If done properly, that would have been EPIC.
