According to Bryan Alvarez, Alberto Del Rio's contract is for 1.4 million downside. In otherwords guaranteed. Any PPV bonuses, merch sales, etc... will be in addition to this.

More numbers are coming out and it appears closer to $550,000 downside with the typical bonuses. Still a lot of money, but not Cena money.
