Qualifying Credentials:WWE Hall Of Fame (2016)

One of the longest reigning champions of the pioneer era. 4x World Catch As Catch Can Champion from 1920-1935. Called "Strangler" due to his feared sleeperhold. Early headliner for wrestling events at madison Square Garden. Trainer of Lou Thesz.



Qualifying Credentials:AWA World Champion (1963)

One of the staples of the early AWA days. Defeated Mad Dog Vachon for the AWA title, but lost it back to him just one week later. Also joined his cousin Crusher in a years long rivalry with Mad Dog and Butcher Vachon. Helped run the WWA promotion. Credited with naming Bobby Heenan "The Weasel".
