Had great success in NWA territories, Crockett NWA, WWF, and WCW. Infamous rivalry with Ric Flair lasted the better part of a decade. Defeated Randy Savage at Wrestlemania 3 in what many consider one of the greatest matches of all time. Defeated Ric Flair for his only World Title in 1989.
