Showtime is casting a 10-episode limited series of Dexter. Set to start shooting in January.

I hear tell the showrunner for the limited series will the one who ran the show during the first four seasons. So, reasons for optimism!

Wow, Hollywood must be getting desperate if they're planing to draw from this poisoned well. How could anybody want this after how god awful the last few seasons of the show were?

I feel like Dexter's girlfriend in the new series bears too close a resemblance to Debra for it to be a total coincidence.

And that's a wrap. Heard some griping about he finale, but I liked it, and at any rate, it was miles better than leaving us with Dexter The Lumberjack (not that that was a high bar to clear).

Not on HBO Max. The first episode is free on Pluto and Roku, but you need a subscription to see the rest. I think it'll eventually be on Netflix or Hulu.
