Apparently, after Hall and Nash bolted for WCW and signed back in 1996, and Jim Ross started promoting the return of "Razor Ramon" and "Diesel," word got back to the bean counters in WCW. So they flew Hall and Nash to Atlanta and drew up a deal for an additional $800,000 a piece so they wouldn't "leave."
