Well it is in TNA's backyard, plus a bunch of smarks went to Florida for the NXT/Evolve/Rumble weekend.

As someone who works out regularly, I have no fucking idea how Jericho and Kofi have that concave chest.

I hope it's Kane!

Haha, they had Steen eliminate him. Probably the only acceptable guy to do it since Owens is beloved as a prick. They would've thrown garbage at Reigns if he did it.

Mark Henry is coming in to be eliminated by Brock later.

Keep Zayn in long enough to send him to Suplex City.

Was the Rumble always like this? Having tons of people just interfere all the time? Slightly rings a bell, but I don't think it was ever this overused.

Wait, so now you can get eliminated by people who aren't even in the match? This booking is getting mighty lazy.

It was the right call, but pretty anti climactic how it happened and goddamn what the fuck was Roman doing on the outside not helping out?

Still, this shit has to end at Wrestlemania. Almost 3 years is long enough.

Yeah you'd think if the Wyatts could all come help eliminate Brock then Reigns would come and in and help Ambrose eliminate HHH, especially after HHH just tossed him out.

Yeah, that was just shitty booking. Forget about the fact that you have eliminated people come back in, they didn't even have Bray do it. How hard would that have been to have Bray push him over?

I just don't see how Brock's meathead "gimmick" will play off of Bray. Not looking forward to 8 weeks of 4 on 1 beatdowns either.

I thought this top to bottom was a great show with a logical ending.

She got a great pop.  She should've been the heel of the Women's Division from the start.

I thought the booking in the Rumble was actually well done.  They gave AJ an elimination and a nice long time in there.  Got rid of him using a character that people are already behind as a heel and can lead to a great rivalry heading towards Mania.  They also had AJ eliminated in time before Zayn showed up so each got their moment with the crowd.  Gave Zayn a decent run in the ring and continued that NXT rivalry with him eliminating Owens.  That elimination plus the Owens eliminating of AJ and the current rivalry between Ambrose and Owens means the IC Title picture is pretty interesting.

The praise for the booking of the Rumble has completely baffled me here and on Twitter.

I didn't mind the outcome at all and having Roman Reigns overcome the odds was not an acceptable finish in any way, shape, or form so good job there.  Even having Triple H win the thing didn't bother me and I fully expected that he would.

There was a lot of unnecessary and idiotic things in that Rumble though.  One is having Brock eliminate the Wyatt Family before Bray's entry, two was then having the Wyatts get back in the ring to eliminate Brock, three and four was the Wyatts then just leaving the ring and Brock just walking away like it was no big deal, five was having Roman disappear like that because it made him look bad.  I wasn't crazy about The Miz not getting in the ring either although that was at least amusing.  Jericho staying in that long was laughable (AJ should have gotten that run).

AJ being eliminated by Owens was perfect though and I hope that means we are getting an Owens/AJ feud.

That's another issue.  Look, I am not one to jump up and down about every perceived inconsistency because it is pro-wrestling after all, but that Rumble last night opened the door for so many, "Wait a minute..." type of things that I thought it was really poorly done.  That and people behaving in a way that doesn't make sense.  There's no way, NO WAY, that Brock Lesnar just strolls to the back after being illegally eliminated from the Rumble.  Reigns I can kind of see due to the beat down, etc., but Lesnar's reaction was completely off the mark IMHO.

Last thought for a while, but that bold portion nails it.  They could have gotten to the same place in much better fashion, but they are just too lazy to do so.  I know there is some track record of them doing those kinds of things in the past, but that didn't make it any better last night.

I did like the Rumble for the most part. AJ's pop was great as was his entrance music. He got a good run, was eliminated by a notable guy he can feud with. Sami got a great pop too and continued with Owens. R-Truth looking for the briefcase was awesome.

Just towards the end it was a complete wreck. Like you said, Brock gets eliminated by non-competitors and just strolls to the back like "Aww shucks"? Fuck outta here with that. Plus, Roman just standing there like a goon while HHH eliminates Ambrose? It was just too much towards the end.

HHH/Reigns at Mania for the title is the way to go. I imagine Roman has to beat The League of Nations 4 on 1 or some shit at Fast Lane.

dam skippy

I knew it would end with HHH holding the belt but I hated that Ambrose had to be the last one in with him.   It could have been HHH and Reigns with HHH getting lucky to win the belt.  I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.
