Not really much to complain about with the picks so far. I can see picking Charlotte second because she is a champion.

I'm assuming Finn Balor will be the guy they try to build the cruiserweight division around.

I was excited about the announcement of the splitting the rosters but after that draft I am no more likely to watch Smackdown than when it was taped. What could be worse is there are 3 brand vs brand title matches Sunday and I would say there is a strong possibility that at the end all of the titles will be on Raw. What then? Shane reintroduce WCW? With Vince continuing to bury anything he did not create and as bad as that draft was for Smackdown, it would not surprise me if they went that route.

Really surprised they didn't address the champions and what happens for the resulting brand without them. (ie. World, Women's, Tag).

Really surprised - to a degree - that Bayley wasn't drafted. If she turns out to be Sasha's mystery partner, then fine, but if not then what the hell? Bayley could be, to borrow from the NFL, the top woman UFA (Undrafted Free Agent).

They did address it, you don't have a title if you didn't draft that champion.  It's pretty clear to me they are going to create new titles since they did not introduce the concept of floating champions right now.

As for Bayley, I'm in the camp that says she's better off not being part of this mass call up.  Makes her debut more special when it happens.

That's what I meant. In the realm of what are the women on SDL fighting for w/o a champion? Same for tag teams and World-tier.

I assume the same stuff they fight for when they aren't in the title hunt? It's not like they really use the whole "I need to win as a step toward the title" thing that much although they should.

Not sure I understand... so if Reigns or Rollins wins the 3 way on Sunday, they don't get the WWE title? My feeling is that one of those two gets the belt, and then Smackdown has a tournament, and Styles wins it all against either Cena or Ambrose in the finals.

I'm a sucker for tournaments, so I actually would like to see Smackdown do a G1 Style Round Robin Tournament. It would make weeks of TV with matches that matter.

I'd still prefer the World, Womens, and Tag champs free to go to either show.

Yes, Rollins or Reigns wins the title.  What I meant was that as of Draft night the premise was you only have a title on your show if you have the champion.  They drove this point home by having Shane and DB draft Dean AND freak out when he retained the title at the end of the show.

As for the rest, I think you're right.  I think they'll have Raw's authority figures interfere in the main event in order to give SD a more legitimate reason to create their own title.
