It was very predictable.  The trailers showed almost all of the scary parts.  I believe this was written to set up the 3rd movie.  Jeff Goldblum is great in his small appearances.  Something tells me Sir David Attenboro's death required the writing teams for this series to get creative.  My only big complaint was Chris Pratt coming off like a super hero in the fight scenes.


I don't expect it to beat the first one's gross.

Better then Rampage?

Because some reviews are comparing it to Rampage.

I haven't seen Rampage. It wouldn't surprise me.

I've seen both, and the comparison isn't terrible.  The story in Jurassic World seemed overly manufactured, even for a dinosaur movie.  One of my biggest complaints was the new benefactor introduced 5 movies in, but Skippy is probably right that Attenborough's death caused that.  It would have felt more true if it had been Hammond instead.
