Pinch/zoom and Assistivetouch ipad
« on: June 25, 2018, 11:03:08 AM »
Just a question about something I noticed:

Ipad has two ways to zoom in on an object.

1.  Pinch/zoom, where you use two fingers to draw in/out, enlarging or shrinking view.

2.  A feature where a three finger triple tap uses a "magnifier" like feature to zoom on a part of the screen, or alternatively, magnifies the entire screen.

Ok, the question is, I've notice using the triple tap, blurry text/images won't clear up, like they do with pinch/spread.  If they're blurry while small, they remain blurry while enlarged.

Why?  Is there an upscaling feature applied on pinching, that the magnifier doesn't support?
