[spoiler]Original creative plans called for the Cena/Punk angle that kicked off on last night's Raw to begin next month, but was bumped forward because the "Straight Edge" wrestler returns to action this weekend. The preliminary plan as of last night was that the feud would culminate at WrestleMania XXVII.[/spoiler]

I imagine they will end up unifying the IC and US titles at Wrestlemania. I wouldn't mind another Ziggler/Bryan match.

And how have those Punk/Cena encounters gone in the past? Aside from their last match together, which I recall being decent, "squish-tastic" is what comes to mind. I really hope they have better things in mind for Punk, but seeing Cena no-sell that chair shot doesn't give me hope. Neither does his SuperCena moveset and actions in the ring this past 48 hours. I'm sure SD tonight will be no different (although, I'm hoping for another Punk run-in; taping it to see it later).

I'm going to go against the grain on this one and say I wouldn't be surprised to see Punk come out on top in this feud.

Once he ditched the hip hop gimmick I was kind of surprised they never really tweaked his attire.  I mean he quit wearing the throwbacks and chain, but kept those stupid looking shorts.

Yeah, seriously.  As long as he's not treated squash-tastically, this will be the biggest WM match of his career by a mile.

Nope. Even if you don't count Jeff Hardy as a real main eventer, he did feud with Undertaker.

I forgot about Undertaker, probably because it was terrible. Same goes for Big Show.

At least now with Cena, and then possibly Orton and HHH, it will be somewhat more even.

Here's the thing.  Even as great of a talker Punk is and how good the matches will be, anything involving SuperCena, I just tune out from.

Not that I hate the guy (I don't), it's just that I'm so indifferent to him.  Most Cena feuds only go a few ways.

1. Insurmountable odds, to which he'll have to overcome (don't buy it anymore)
2. Someone who is so totally not in the league of JOHN CEEEEEEEEEEENAAAAAAAAA!!! (which they could do with Punk)

I just don't care.  Not even with Punk.
