It looks like every team in the NFC East sucks this season. Seriously, the way Washington just played getting gifted that first down off the FG attempt, they looked like a 6-10 team at best. AND THEY'RE WINNING.

The Giants are probably the NFC East champs simply because they aren't as awful as everyone else. Sorry to say that TH.

Child please. They couldn't stop a terrible Carolina team and needed Matt Moore to hand them three red zone INTs to hold them off. That was the worst, least-decisive 13 point victory I have ever seen.

The Giants offense will be able to hide a lot of their deficiencies.

I'm trying to think of a more poetic ending to the game, given how it was played, and I'm coming up empty.

Wow Jets...ok first of all there were some BAD calls in that game.  Braylon Edwards "running into the kicker" was 100% bullshit as he was in the air before the kick and was sliding on the ground when he made contact with the kickers plant food (who flopped like a Eurofag soccer player).

There were also some bullshit pass interference calls, especially the one in the end zone.

That being said, I just witnessed probably the worst offensive performance I have ever seen.  It is almost as if the Jets only practiced defense this summer.  Mark Sanchez looks like he regressed.  Shonn Greene basically handed the #1 RB spot to LT and made everyone in the Tri-State area wonder why the fuck you would get rid of Thomas Jones after a career year.  Kyle Wilson and Cromartie got LIT THE FUCK UP the entire game.  Holy shit, what the hell.

Horrible night.  Pats next week will probably be a bloodbath.  0-3 here we come when Miami kicks our ass as usual.

Well if you don't want Braylon to get called for running into the kicker, well....he did jump over the line, which is a penalty in and of itself, so take your pick.

From what I saw, that PI call in the end zone on the rookie DB was very much legit, he was molesting TJ Who's your Momma. That DB cost them several times actually, getting burned on passes, horrible special teams play..

I'm a Jets fan through and through, but they looked god fucking awful last night. I give the Ravens full credit, but the Jets looked terrible.

That sounds like the definition of running into the kicker to me.  I'm not sure I see the gripe other than flopping is ridiculous in any sport.

Yes. That's one of those things where every team gets burned by it every now and then. And notwithstanding that, teams practice how to rush a punt so as to not run into the kicker.

I thought it was a punt situation. No matter - you're actually less likely to get away with it if it's a FG attempt.

Rule's a rule, like with the Calvin Johnson situation. Also like the Calvin Johnson situation, it's a horribly shitty rule that should be retooled to stop babying these kickers and rewarding them for going all Eurofag on us over here.

I'd say that exact play gets flagged like 9 out of 10 times.  I don't get the gripe with it other than being a Jets fan.

The PI in the endzone seemed like a good call to me.  I did think there was a terrible PI call on a standard bump and run but by that point the refs were looking to flag the Jets D for anything since they were playing so stupid.
