Dude, whatever you're smoking give me some of that.

 :diablo_mini:

Ok, I was thinking besides the 8 and 16 bit eras.  Sonics been a train wreck since Adventure, and Mario's made some good 3d games and all, but mediocre classic side scrollers.

So, Rayman is definitely the best 2d style sidescroller in recent memory, at least.

Honestly no. I've been wanting to, at least more than the recent Mario games

Just perfected Kingdoms of Amalur: The Reckoning.  Everything that can be done in the game is finished and have all 61 achievements.  Only thing I didn't do was build the best gear but that is unnecessary since the game is so easy even on hard and is just time consuming crafting and salvaging over and over and over...took a total of 123 hours 1 minute and 10 seconds.  Game is not as large as I thought it was.

Picked up Namco Museum, mostly for Super Pacman and Championship Edition C.E.

Wow, C.E. is kind of meh after you've played the DX versions.

I meant Pacman Museum, not Namco.

After some more playing, my opinion has changed from "meh" to "different".

Basically, vanilla championship edition is like classic pac man, where you're always on the run from ghosts, while in DX+ they're never really a threat because of slow-mo and bombs.  So the challenge isn't survival, but racking up points.

Makes for a much faster paced game, but tbh vanilla C.E. is more of a proper pacman game.  C.E. is Forza, and DX+ is Burnout.

Anyways, besides C.E., the Pacman collection has an Arrangement game from the psp which is worth the price of admission alone.  Really fun to play.

Of course, I could have just emulated the rest of the older games, but the leaderboards are worth paying into, imo, plus achievements give you some goals and keep the games from getting stale (And there are over 72 of these things.  Only like 3 people completed them.)

Time for me to get lost in Dark Souls again as they just migrated it off that piss of shit GFWL platform and over to Steamworks.

I keep going back to God Hand on my trusty old PS2.  This is pretty much PS2's "Nintendo hard" Dark Souls, just like Ninja Gaiden Black was for the Xbox.

Too bad they'll never make a sequel.  Or even hd it up for modern consoles (I'd guess the PS3 buffs it up a bit though.)

I'll never be able to look at Metal Gear Ray the same way again, after Metal Gear Rising.   :fr:

I've played a bit of Disney Infinity's Avengers game.  Santa brought my kids the Avengers pack for Infinity 2.0.  It's not bad.  The kids love it.  The whole thing is a pretty cool concept.

Thanks to a friend from YouJustGotFragged.com I got Resogun for the PS3.  I'm so glad I waited.  I guess it just came out for the PS3 in December, got it on a Flash sale for only $3.  If I had known before the sale it was available on the PS3 I would've paid full price.  Well worth it.  This is definitely the game I wanted since Ikaruga, a fun, challenging space shooter.  My goodness the game is hard, but it's beautiful and challenging.

I have this on PS4 as a PS+ member and as a Platinum. It's so incredibly fun.

Sony exclusive, eh?

I'm more of a vertical shooter guy, but this does look fun.

Me too, but this one is fun man, really fun.  It'd be cool if I had Vita and I could cross play with it, but it's ok.

It was going to be one of the first games I was gonna get when I get a PS4, but that'll have to wait a little longer.  At least it did get released on the PS3.

Madden 13.  I can't get anything done on offense.  I think I'm going to have to play on the lower difficulty setting.  It's way harder than Madden 11 which I played last on Pro.

Picked up Dungeon Siege 3 cheap for the coop.

Fun game, if you don't mind basically helping the host do their campaign, because everythings saved server side.  It's different then a Diablo clone, and almost plays like a hybrid beat em up, with a block button and dodging being important, along with special attack meters you build up from normal attacks.

It's a great game.

That and Mass Effect are pretty much must plays, if you're into sci fi.

It's pretty much reboot Battlestar Galactica:  the game.

Even up to the controversial ending.

Witcher 2 enhanced edition and Tomb Raider offered for 360 gold subscribers.  Finally, a few Games with Gold games that I didn't already buy.   :good_mini:

Playing Tomb now, and enjoying it.  Not so sure if I'll play Witcher first, or Skyrim (I've had it on my hdd for year now, and keep putting it off for other games that don't have 4,000 hours of gameplay.)

Did you play the first Witcher?  If not I'd suggest playing that first before Witcher 2
