HTML is actually disabled on this forum for security, it's the BB code that does it.

I think you seem to be the only one having a problem with it, so for now I'll make you conform. ;)

Heh, no problem.  I wasn't expecting you to revamp the board code for one problem.

As long as this board doesn't (As a few other boards do) mess with urls that start in http://exampleexample

Where after posting the url gets broken to pieces, with half the characters missing..

Got an itch to play Killer Instinct again..  So, I am.  Both of them.  :D

Liked the first one more, because it had that dinosaur and the fire guy.  And the second game had a stage with dance music?  O_o

Wish they'd port these to something.  Mortal Kombat gets like a million ports, and KS only gets a stripped down N64 game and some bad SNES ports..

Transitioning from NCAA Football 13 back to WWE 12 since WWE 13 is out at the end of the month.  I'll be picking that up Day 1.

Just picked up Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, now that the price is down to around 20 dollars.  Played against a friend in India who I usually dominate at fighting games like Street Fighter 4, and lost about 10 straight.  I bet he was using Simple Mode, seeing he was spamming specials and supers non stop, when he can't even do a dragon punch in Street Fighter..  >_<

Between India and the US, there's about a half second input delay, give or take, so I just may use simple mode myself.  In fact, that control scheme might be ideal for laggy gameplay, and is the ONLY reason I'd use it...  (Not because I'm some elitist prick who thinks it's beneath him either, but more I'm used to using normal inputs, and simple mode cuts you off from a lot of moves...)

Playing Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on the PS3.  I started with MGS 2: Sons of Liberty.  It's reminding me why I love this series so much.

Finished up Gears 2 with a friend, and it was AWESOME.  Short, but felt like playing in an epic blockbuster action movie.

Going to wait on a pending price drop for Gears 3, so for now Fable 3 is shipping..  I know it gets sketchy reviews, but the Youtube vids make it look appealing, and for 8 dollars it's not really breaking the bank..  Plus, it's really one of the only decent co-op games for the 360.  You'd think there'd be tons of full co-op games, but the truth is there's not.  Most only have limited modes..

Playing DMC right now. Combat is fucking great. Really fun game.

Just finished Far Cry 3. I've been on a great streak lately finishing games going back to Sleeping Dogs. Beat Dishonored after that, then Black Ops 2 then Far Cry 3. Every one of them were great games that I could really get into, I've been lucky recently.

It does look good from videos in action..  But I think I'll be picking up the DMC HD remake first, and maybe Bayonetta, in one swoop.  I actually own DMC 1 and 3, but never finished it, so may as well start from scratch on the HD ports, then trade up to DMC 5 later...

Retail outlets didn't have DMC hd collection, so I guess I'm stuck playing those on my old PS2 for now.

But I did pick up Bayonetta.  Once the Wii U sequel comes out, I figure the price will go up on the other console versions, if only a little bit, and once I'm done playing it Devil May Cry 5 should drop a bit more, so I'll get it then (Plus I really want to finish DMC 1 and 3 before playing 5, even though I realize 5 is a reboot.)

Bayonetta is ridiculously good.  I love all the classics, your Ninja Gaidens and GOW's, and DMC's except the new one I have not tried, but none of them have a religious witch assassin from hell dominatrix diva who can clear an entire room from a handstand while strafing the room with high heel handguns.  It's virtually a satire of action game tropes, yet the gameplay is so over the top, yet accessible, that you feel like a total baddass.

Currently playing nothing as I'm waiting to upgrade to the 500GB PS3.  My old fatboy one finally took a dump.

Got any last gen games you never got around to finishing?  Might be a good excuse to dust off a little nostalgia.  :D

Or you could get Steam and get something to kill time with, like TF2 or an MMO.

I've been playing a NES emulator I have.  I have a PS2, N64 and Gamecube, but haven't really dusted any of them off.

I've been playing a NES emulator I have.  I have a PS2, N64 and Gamecube, but haven't really dusted any of them off.

Just a thought:

I heard about this thing called Mamehub, that's basically this giant multi-emulator that you have to log in to, and it puts you in a room with all these other people.  And you can download games directly from them, and most importantly you can start multiplayer sessions with anyone in the room.  It works pretty decently.

Played some Marvel vs Capcom with six other people one time..  I don't normally use it, though, since in the end they're strangers, but if, say, someone here decided to try it..

So, still playing Bayonetta.  I had delusions of getting perfect scores on every level, and gave that dream up after about the eight restart..  Now I'm just not caring if I play like a scrub or not, and enjoying the experience.   ^_^;

And it is something.  I just cleared the train stage, and Bayonetta's hair became a giant dragon like thing and bit in half a giant berserker angel.  Games got God of War brutality in it, but the gameplay is more like Devil May Cry maybe..

And hells shopkeeper, who gives Bayonetta a new set of guns, kind of reminds of of Morpheus from The Matrix, if he was played by Samuel L. Jackson....

Some disagree, apparently..  Rather strongly.  ¬¬

They petitioned the white house to get the game banned from shelves.  O_o

My bread and butter game has been Persona 4 lately.  But a friend got me a gift card to a new game shop in town called Game Xchange, or Game Change or something.  It has stuff for nearly every system ever made, all the way back to the Atari 2600 era, and I'm all for alternatives to Gamestop, so stopped by today.  Picked up Dead of Alive 3 for the Xbox, and Gottelieb collection for the PS2.

The pinball game is alright, but DOA3 is fantastic.  Even the visuals are impressive, considering it's a last gen game, with the somewhat choppy fmv's showing their age more then the graphics engine (And personally, I think the visuals from last gen to this gen are more of a bunny hop anyways, vs the giant leap from PS1 to PS2/Xbox.)

Only thing, is it seems you can't change settings in arcade mode.  Everythings 1 round, infinite time limit, and changing the settings only works for tag modes and other non story modes..  (Tag mode is especially fun.  Fast paced, and I'm actually enjoying it more then tag based games like Marvel vs Capcom at the moment..)

Played it some more, tonight.

Visually, it's kind of hard to believe the game came out in 2001.  The visuals must have been stunning back in the day.  Personally, I think they're pretty now.
