Just started RE6 last night. Its visually amazing but its a little too quick-timey for me.

Open a door, cut scene, get attacked by something, wiggle the stick, press x, rinse repeat.

Only an hour or so in so we shall see...

Playing some Fight Night Champion.  HUGE improvement over the older games.  Visually, it's photorealistic stuff, and it's pretty fast moving.  The Champion mode story is pretty fun so far..

Thinking about finishing the Hunting add-on for Borderlands 2 and then diving into the Tiny Tina mod.  Having a hard time keeping my attention on the game though.

Picked-up Asura's Wrath and it's like playing an Anime...commercial break bumpers and all.  Kind of neat as the scale of the battles are huge.

Far Cry 3 was pretty great, but I'm sick of the island life, so I guess Just Cause 2 will have to wait.

Finally got all the Spartan Ops episodes done on Legendary as well...but don't think I'll be coming back to Halo 4 for awhile as the rewards for regular multiplayer suck.

And it arrived today.

Considering they don't deliver on Sundays, that's not bad for economy shipping.

TTT2's no Mortal Kombat or Injustice, but it's pretty fun..  More fun then I remember the older games being, at least.

FTL, and only FTL lately.

It has to be the most addicting game since WoW (Not that I have much experience with WoW, but by what people say about it..)

I like FTL but the RNG gets to me.  To little control at times

I just spent about an hour and a half, give or take, trying to unlock "tough little ship" to later unlock the Red Tail, and every time the RNG was against me, so I know what you mean.  ^_^

In general though, you just have to be smart with the upgrades/mods, and you'll usually do ok..  No shame in playing on easy mode for the extra scrap either, imo.

I have the Red Tail actually. I only have the Kestrel, Red Tail, and the Engi ship in my game.  Don't play often though so could have more.

I'm currently in Borderlands on PC looking to do the Mad Moxxi shit while I'm still level 41 and all my friends are level capped with pimp ass weapons to make it easier XD.  While waiting to set that up I'm probably going to start a FFVII play through now that I have the PC version and never finished the play through I started a few years back

Saints Row 4 and it's great.  Even more over the top than the last one and the referential humor to themeselves and pop culture as a whole is fantastic

Oblivion, huge step back from Skyrim as far as UI goes.

LOL when Skyrim was announced some of their initial announcements were that they were working on making the UI smoother and easier to use than the Oblivion UI.  They did but it's still kinda clunky to use on a PC as the UI for Skyrim was based around Console controls.  There are mods that make the Skyrim UI even better for PC and amazing.  Same goes for Oblivion.

As for graphics in Oblivion....stop trolling.

Currently playing Major League Baseball 2K12.  I'm going to add WWE '13 back into the rotation as we get closer to WWE 2K14 coming out at the end of October.

I mentioned Mamehub not that long ago for playing older games online.  It was ok, but a little bit laggy..  Just tried another program called ggpo, which is supposed to be about as lag free as possible.

Now, one of the guys I play with lives in India (Old friend from my college days), and we tested KOF97.  Normally, we have pings between us of 400-600, which translates into at least a half second to a full seconds input lag.  That wasn't a problem here..  I'm 100% sure a no life pro gamer would find some amounts of unacceptable lag, but they play within some ridiculous standard where you have to nail a single frame out of 60 frames to nail a move..  For my purposes, play seemed smoother as anything.  Damned near perfect.

So yeah, 1990's/early 2000's fighters is what I'm playing now.

I'm halfway through Walking Dead, and I'm loving every minute of it.  It really does feel like an interactive scenario from the show.

Would have been farther along, but I decided to rewind back and steal some supplies, because only an idiot would pick the morally upright thing if it meant the little girl he's taking care of won't have antibiotics, food, or a warm hoodie.  :)

Working on WWE 2K14 still.  Waiting on DLC Pack #3 with Jake, Rick Rude, Dusty Rhodes and Bruno Sammartino.  It's due in January.

Got a Platinum in Tearaway (PSVita game) and I would say it's a very excellent game. It's a bit like PS1/N64 era platformers but for a handheld.

I realize that type of game is not really anyone's cup of tea here, but I figure I bring it up.

Got the next few days off, and stuck indoors thanks to the weather, so thinking of cracking open Gears 3.  Anyone up for playing wingman?

I spent some money on mobile games, like Ridiculous Fishing and Kingdom Rush 2, but this little free app is my most played game.  I'll take it over candy crush, which I'll never understand the appeal of yet everyone seems addicted to..

Metro Last Light. Free on PS Plus this month. Pretty good. Spooky, dark shooter set in nuclear destroyed Russia.

Also How to Survive. A PSN survival horror set on an island. Overhead Diablo type view. Its set up like the old evil dead game the name of which escapes me. Find parts, make weapon, find gas, make molotovs, etc. Pretty fun...

Lucky.  Most of the Games with Gold games are bargain bin crap I bought years ago, like Halo 3..

Although the last few offerings of Sleeping Dogs and Lara Croft and the Guardians of Light were good (The former I've played for the past week, and now I'm nearly bored of it and want to trade up to Saints Row 3/4 or GTA 5, and the latter I've tried and it's very good..)

Finished the campaigns for both RYSE and Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox One, now I get to start slagging my way through multiplayer on Ghosts.

No cross platform play between 360's and Xbox One's?  The excuse, is because of different architecture?

Isn't that just an excuse?  PC and PS3 played together with Final Fantasy..

I have no idea if you can play Ghosts on X1 against 360 users. I would guess that would be the easy answer - I don't know if there are actual defined limitations that would prevent this.
