Euro quals today.  Got to see England get embarrassed early on before pulling it back.  Poor Joe Hart, he's so good at what he does and he let two goals in today.  2-2 final.

The Gold Cup starts this week, I believe.  US plays Panama on the 11th.

Bit of a week for the US.  Spain destroyed them, then the US beat Canada in their first Gold Cup match.  Mexico destroyed Cuba last night.

Sporting KC played their first home game of the season, drawing against Chicago.  Bad game made worse by stupid fucking retards in the stands.  Omar Bravo was tackled in the box, landing on his hip/back.  The ref, who needs to lose his job, didn't call any penalty for the obviously dangerous tackle.  Then, while Bravo was being looked at by medics, the moronic fans(most likely people with free tickets) started throwing bottles onto the pitch.  At another point in the game, some douchebag in a cow costume ran out while KC was attacking.  Such a disgraceful opening to the stadium.

At least the cow found the back of the net. That's awesome!

Not awesome is losing to Panama.

I wasn't watching the game.  Sounds like I didn't miss much.  *sigh*  My friend from Panama is not going to let me live this down.

That was a beautiful goal.  But what's up with calling it the Cascadia Cup?  Shouldn't it be the Northwest Derby?

KC beat Dallas last night, giving them their second win in 12 games.  Zusi had an amazing goal from a free kick.  I love how it leaves the announcers speechless.

Nice goal that.

Jozy had a blast tonight. Looks like US will play Jamaica in the Quarters.

Whatever happened against Panama seems to have been a fluke.  They've been on the verge of scoring several times tonight.  It's through sheer determination by Guadeloupe and bad luck that the score is only 1-0 right now.

Don't know why I didn't go to the games tonight.

Totally different feel to the second half.  Not sure what it is, but the US just lacks something.  Dempsey couldn't put the ball in the net from a foot away.  It's like they have no awareness on the pitch.  They don't pass to people are open, and if they do pass, they give the ball away easily.  It's easy to dismiss it because it's warm and humid, but this has been their problem for over 5 years now.  They really need to steal some trainers from a European country that isn't England.

But a win is a win.

KC with another win tonight vs San Jose!  Also yelled at Taylor Twellman on Twitter, causing him to delete a post about the game.   :crazy_mini:

The MLS is a lot of fun this season.

69th minute of the US vs Jamaica game.  US ahead 1-0.  Jamaica's Jermaine Taylor was sent off with a red on a horrible, horrible call by the ref.  No contact on Jermaine Jones, who dove like a bitch.  #thisiswhypeoplehatesocceryouidiot

Dempsey with goal numbah 2!  Smooth footwork around the Jamaican GK.  He looks like one of the better players right now, showing actual skill with the ball.

Are both semi-final matches rematches from the group stage?  I hope we can avenge the loss to Panama.

Mexico and Honduras were in different groups.

Fully expecting a US/Mexico final in the Rose Bowl, which should be what 75% of the crowd supporting Mexico?

Probably close to that.  The finals should have been scheduled for Chicago instead.

How big of a flop would it be if the finals were Honduras/Panama?
