I keep off of fb for the most part, but I'm always hearing friends vent about people venting on the thing.

I just "keep out of it" by just letting them go, and moving on. (Amusingly, sometimes they'll go "Of course, I don't really know his deal and he may be justified", like they know they're being unfair..)

Dunkin' Donuts coffee.

I like my coffee black (like my soul), and Dunkin's is just watery garbage without all the sugar and half and half masking it.

Even your economy K- cup, or store brand instant, makes a better cup of black.

Interesting. I don't drink coffee, but for years I've heard that DD and McDonalds are the best quick-stop alternatives to Starbucks when it comes to basic coffee.

Starbucks is pretty well overroasted.

McDonalds is good. They're partnered up with Paul Newman, who has some of the best coffee on the market (I personally like his Newman's Own boxes of K-cups.)

You'll want to pop the cover off though, because the McDonalds plastic lids leave an aftertaste.

Starbucks regular coffee is well behind McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, and Waffle House IMHO. Krispy Kreme's coffee is the worst.

McD's is pretty good, but I agree with Dan on DD. Plus, I don't like that they put stuff in for you (even though 99% of the time I take it black)

You're better off with 7-11 or QuikChek & the like

I drink DD black when I make it at home. When I go get it I have them put cream and sugar in it and I like how they make it.

Hummus.

Like my fifth complaint about the stuff, but now that we're in barbecue season, I'm starting to see a lot of that as snack of choice.

I just don't get what people see in smushed chickpeas. No real flavor at all..

Give me salsa, or radish's, or even those vegetable spreads with ranch any day.

And for today's complaint: Using the web on a phone is borderline impossible unless you disable "everything" first. Javascript, flash, the works.

A thousand banner ads, sure. Popups, and ads that scale forever into a bottomless pit between paragraphs are also bad. But the real trouble is the redirectors.. You're reading something, and suddenly get swept off to another page trying to push something.

Plus if you're on data, it eats your bandwidth in no time.

Weed killer pump bottles.

Because once they're a little over half empty, you can't even tip them slightly towards the ground before losing the pump. End up either squatting low by the weeds, or standing at a distance and getting weed killer more on the ground than the weeds.

Slowing down as you get older.

Coffee doesn't really help in the long term, because of the crash. And you can't really sleep like you used to.. (Mainly because the time you wake up is set in stone by this point. You can turn in earlier, but you can't sleep any later..)

Pokemon Go.

I get the fun and all, but it's also why there's tons of kids/young adults burried in their phones, not paying attention to traffic and taking of spaces at post offices and other "Pokestops".

The post office and firehouse as Pokestops.. Do we really want hordes of gamers flocking to those spots?

Something like the world war II memorial on the town green makes sense, given greens are made for crowds to congregate.

The US National Holocaust Museum has asked people to stop catching pokemon there. And so apparently has the Memorial and Museum at Auschwitz.

The smart churches are benefitting. I know several that are pokestops and drop lures to encourage people to come. Some are even inciting them in for snacks and all. It's funny that there are people with warrants more apt to go to the police station to play rather than a church.

4g/wifi/cable/internet/ect.

Within an hours drive to New York. Many important people who work there, live here. You'd think we'd get stellar service just on location, but nope.. Towns in CT may as well be backwater hicksville, with the spotty services we get.

I miss pay phones.. At least they were reliable.
