Did Miz somehow know that the match would get restarted? I suppose it's possible, stranger things have happened in wrestling.

like i said, i hope they explain it.  it would make sense that miz made a deal with corre.  his win seemed almost out of nowhere.

why would miz have to have known the match would restart? miz is an opportunist. he saw an opportunity in match one to win some gold. in the second match, he saw an opportunity to make cena his bitch. it was awesome and made miz look strong as fuck going into mania. they really made him look good. better than he ever has.

Didn't Mathews say something at the end about Miz promising Cena that they would win the belts and that he kept that promise and then took advantage of the second bout to get 1up on Cena?  I swear that's what I heard.  I'm re-watching it right now.

that's a good point too.

lost in all this is that cena took the pinfall directly following miz's finisher.

"The Miz did live up to his word so to speak...he did win the tag team championship with John Cena."

I thought I heard him right.

I thought the tag matches themselves were great. Miz pretty much singlehandedly winning the tag titles and then playing Ricky Morton brilliantly in the 2nd match. The ending was predictable, but still very stupid. The angle is tired, but the participants in it did a great job.

It couldn't of been that predictable if people are asking questions.

pretty much everyone predicted it would end with miz screwing over cena.  it was the middle that was unpredictable; not the end.

That was the part of the match that was way underrated.  Miz was fantastic as the babyface in peril and the fans were really into him in that role.

mmm, i'm not sure people were cheering for miz as much as they were cheering for cena to get in the ring.

lol, yeah.  But he wasn't advertised, so that's on them.  But at least they saw Cena's retort, and that should be wetting appetites for their eventual confrontation.
