Speaking of the world not making sense, wasn't able to get ALCS tickets. Fine, it's okay watching it on tv(even if the TBS announcers are terrible). Was more disappointed that my mom, who was a die-hard during the 90's and 00's, couldn't go.

So yesterday I ended up winning tickets to games 3, 4 and 5. Fuck yeah.

One of the Royals players wore a "These O's Ain't Royal" shirt after Game 3. He got shit for it, but it was hilarious.

Congrats to KC, every baseball fan outside of San Fran and St. Louis should be pulling for them, even if their owner is so rich and evil he can hire the Steinbrenners to be his servants.

There was a discussion on sports radio about the Giants having an advantage due to the DH rule. In KC, they get to add power-hitting Michael Morse to their lineup, while the Royals have the same lineup they have had all year. Then in SF, the Royals will lose their cleanup hitter Billy Butler.

Somehow, I still feel the Royals will be okay and hold their own.
