I came over when MBE moved from 1W to A1W. I never understood the war with Ryder. But I don't miss 1W one bit.

I'm sorry, but 9/11 was the greatest use of this site. It took over the site for at least a week but I think much longer. There was a ton of insight from people of NY and money others that is really the main purpose for these types of message boards. I think we were better for having each other and a vast array of opinions and shoulders cry on if necessary. I still remember FF posting about from such a heartfelt place. I believe he was a dozen or so blocks away.

Never understood piles issue w/ me. It seemed like he didn't like me based solely on the things I found funny. I remember him saying something like Jack Black would hate the fact that I was a Tenacious D fan lolol. He was a prime example of an internet tough guy, trying to shit on people from the safety of his bedroom. Hopefully he's grown up, but people like that rarely do. They just go through life bitter and hating the world, and probably end up miserable and alone. He was probably picked on as a kid...just like me, difference is I'm an awesome person and he's a fucking loser.

2. he went to the shop from one of Kevin Smith's shit movies and was waving the experience around like a flaccid dick. I think it was Webweaver who pointed out it's no better than someone going to a star trek house and being all 'captain spock did a poo here' and thinking that was impressive. I think that Samumafoo did get banned in the aftermath of that incident; but IIRC it was actually his cousin(?) TheMeanderthal who was banned for the most outrageous statements.

tdub was banned several time over the years under various names (smartguy, nancy, several others). He finally left (for good?) because he lost a loser leaves town wager with markformadden/jweazy/Proud Virgin over the Braves playoff record in 2010. I do believe that he was also the one the bragged about punching the girl in the mouth.

I always liked and got along with PILE (my guess is that a lot of the early MBE folk maintained a certain affinity towards each other after migrating to A1), but certainly can see how he came off as a bully.

I actually chatted w/ PILE on facebook a few months ago and he was considering coming back to A1 as he had recently started watching wrestling again.
