Was thinking about this at work today after telling a co-worker about the current status of the Babefest.

I honestly don't know an exact date but I know I've been around here pretty long. Even though a lot of it was lurking...

Some things / people I remember:

Getting together to play Yahoo pool
Euclid, Kurt Angle it's True, CJC when he was Rage of Angels....
Fatty schooling a bunch of dicks on the Wrestling Classics Board in a discussion about (I think it was) early UFC maybe...
Randazzo....
Being a Nancy....
Janitor and GPac (I think Janitor is Prime, right?)
Probably spelling it wrong but Sabumafoo. There was a pic of a bald dude petting a cat that I remember. I remember for a while I though it was Fatty. (Still not entirely sure)

What else am I forgetting???

i've been with a1 since around day 1 as well. i was at 1w when shit got real...then a few days later i was banned for questioning either bob ryder or that other guy (dave scherrer??).

within a few months of inception. i was on 1W as well, but i was relatively new there when A1 split off. i do remember being there for some of the Janitor drama

i was mostly a lurker at the start. my original screen name was zombie316. then i left for a bit and when i came back apparently matt had used the name zombiematt or something and so everyone thought i was him for a bit.

GPac kinda disappeared, as far as I can remember.

As for Janitor, yeah, he owned the old A1. I was taking care of the technical side of things, and Janitor was kind of getting more and more distant from the site. When the a1wrestling.com domain/hosting came up for renewal, he didn't pay for the site and it was taken offline.

We talked and he agreed for me to take over the domain name and the site, but he didn't have any of the usernames/passwords etc needed to do so, so I fired up the A1 Dash Edition and here we are.

I go back to the 1bob days, but got here a few months after it started. I knew TH, Fatty, CJC (wwfmarkcjc), from there.

Some of the things I remember:

-Janitor helping break the news about Booker and Page signing with WWE in the WCW Buyout

He did, and he didn't even watch wrestling. His sole purpose of starting A1 was to put Bob Ryder in his place and compete with 1wrestling. I think there was even a lawsuit. lol
