Glitch
« on: February 21, 2012, 04:42:28 PM »
Using Firefox, I get a lot of Google Feed errors on the frontpage half the time I show up here and am not logged in. Did I break the internet?!?!!?!?!?

The only google related glitch I get is I can't reply to posts in Chrome, it locks up.  It was working ok, and then broke on 4 different machines.

Another glitch.

I had to disable the wysiwyg editor in my settings, because it was fucking up my posts something chronic.  Safari and Firefox.

It was adding extra line breaks in where it wasn't meant to and was having trouble embedding clips.  Disabled it so that its just text based now and its fine.

That's a new one. I see that in older versions of IE, although IE 9 works fine. First I've heard of it happening in other browsers.

I just applied a patch to SMF, so maybe try again and see if that helps.

I've seen that a couple times when the site is super busy. The Google feeds only allow so much traffic at once, I guess. I didn't know that until just a few days ago. I will be looking into redoing how the front page is done, since I'm currently raging against Google.

I've had that.  Sometimes also when it inserts the quote marks they are back to front, like this :
Code: [Select]
