Was so sad too.  She was such a like-able character until the last few weeks.  Now we are wishing she'd die just as much as Laurel XD

I noticed there's a free promotional Arrow skin for Injustice:  Gods Among Us, with lines from the guy who plays him on the show.  Tried him out a bit in ladder mode, and wouldn't you guess who beat me halfway through?      And I was on a role too.  Felt like the difficulty spiked pretty hard once I hit Slade.  :laugh_mini:

That was a fast paced and tension building episode. Tons of well shot action and everyone brought the acting chops leading into the finale.

On a quick side note, anyone feel most of this season has resembled a bit of The Dark Knight Rises? City under siege, Talia/Isabelle sleeps with the CEO of the company and gains control of something important to use against the city, Slade/Bane, the position of the polie, etc.

Anyways, great to see Sarah back. With her becoming a public hero, it worries me again that they're setting up her death for the finale. Everything is going too well. Family is together. Everyone knows who and what she is. That's not how this world works.

Really enjoyed the Brother Blood twist with him choosing the city over Slade. He really did want to help, but in a Batman Begins Ras Al Ghul twisted sorta way. With him dead, does this open up for a Mayor Olliver Queen storyline next season? Happened in the comics. Just sayin.

Also great to see Merlyn back finally. Anti-heroes are always almost fun. I don't think Thea shot him. Not falling for these types of fake outs. She shoots someone sneaking up on them in a Deathstroke mask obviously. Hope to see he and Olliver team up at least once. Much like with Brother Blood, there's no way Olliver can ever let loose after the things he's done. Will Thea go on the dark path since Roy was hit with the cure?

Amanda Waller is getting better on screen, but I still prefer the older heavy set version. With the cure in their hands, I'm sure they'll hit the deadline. I'm wondering if they'll hit Slade with it as well.

With Detective Lance gaining his old rank back and the police backing the Arrow, I'm wondering if Quentin gets promoted even more and really does become the Commissioner Gordon of the show next season. They did put him in charge of the entire thing.

I liked how hesitant Olliver was to inject Roy, but after speaking with Waller he wastes no time.

"I have failed this city!" - Olliver

Things I want to see in the finale.

1. Island Ollie vs. Slade and how he lost his eye.
2. Find out if Sarah lives or dies. Based on the previews, it might have nothing to do with Slade.
3. Slade wants to kill who Olliver loves the most. These are all women in his lives: Sarah, Laurel, Felicity, and Thea. I think he actually loves all of them equally in a way. Might be Starling City.
4. Flash tv show trailer. It's time.
5. Big Deathstroke fight between he and Arrow.
6. Ravager vs. Nyssa or Canary.

Sad the season is coming to and end, but excited for the finale and next season. Fantastic show.

Really really good episode and has me hyped for next week's finale.

I see where you are gertting the TDKR analogy and it is similar but it's also not anything new.

I actually think it'll be either Quintin or, for the love of god please, Laurel.  Sarah is just too good as Canary.  Hell they are calling her that now.

Brother Blood was cool.  Surprised he was let out of the building with the cure XD  I think they will go Mayor Queen.  They have a lot of leverage for him to get elected after all this.

Merlyn being back is great.  Hoping he takes Thea and trains her.  She didn't shoot him though.  To obvious.

Waller is nice.  I still miss big Waller too but she's been gone since The New 52 in all forms of DC media.

Again, I think he'll be getting killed.  If not I doubt Commissioner.  Maybe Captain.

"You have till Dawn." Well shit...fuck it.  TEST TIME!

When he said the failed this city roommate and I immediately motioned to stabbing self in side of head with an arrow

For the finale I want to actually SEE Flash show up.  Help set up for his show's release this summer

I like #3 ahead that Starling City is Slade's target
and I also like the Flash suggestion
I'm a sucker for crossovers, I hope they keep a flow between the 2 shows, like Chicago Fire and Chicago PD

Solid finale. That's how superhero finales are done, if you know what I mean!

First thought. Sarah didn't die, but she did leave and gave Laurel the Canary jacket. But I doubt that was the last of Sarah or Nyssa. I could see a situation where Laurel does get legitimized as Black Canary and she Sarah co-exist. I don't like the idea of Katie Cassidy taking over the character, but I trust the show to pull it off one day. Look how long they took with Roy, or still taking with Roy I should say.

Shutting down Slade was almost too easy, but since they had the cure plus Nyssa's army, it was the perfect recipe. Nice to see a super villain not die. Slade can still be Deathstroke without powers. And Ravager can still exist oneday with Isabelle actually killed. I liked that there was some actual strategy used to get the final blow on Slade, using Felicity and Oliver figuring out the surveillance. Obviosuly there's some real feelings between Felicity and Olliver that was planted way before this episode. Ollicity ftw!

Thea will not be missed. Turning her into the female Merlyn (Artemis?) might actually be the best direction for her character. She was on her high horse all season and that high horse road away on another high horse this episode.

With the island flashbacks now moving on to his time with Amanda Waller, I hope this guarantees more Suicide Squad next season. That Harley tease really left me hangin.

Excited to see what they come up with for next season, probably get a trailer teaser at SDCC.

We finally know how Slade lost his eye, and learned Ollie didn't let him live, as we assumed.  Instead, he made the mistake of not curing him before stabbing him in the brain.

The effects of that drug are insane..  Like Wolverine insane.

Based on his fight with Slade in this finale, I will concede he could beat Bale Batman and even Bane from that film.

Devon Aoki comes out of retirement to play Katana in season 3. She'll be a big part of those Hong Kong flashbacks.

Brandon Routh cast as Ray Palmer (The Atom) and will be the new owner of Queen Consolidated.

Lol.

Well, after you play the big S, just about any other character would be a step down.  In DC there's Superman, Batman, and everyone else.

Was never a fan of Atom, though, but it's got loads of drama potential.

Good to see he's still getting superhero work. Arrow is sorta the center of the DC tv universe and he adds some nice familiar star power.

I didn't see Chuck, but I thought he made a good Clarke Kent, which is what casting Superman involves.

are there (currently) any other dc tv shows?  other than toons?  easy to be the center when you're the only one?  ;)
