I'd go, but I'm afraid of flying. Also I'm not sure how portable the Cardboard Clubhouse is.

Buy me a ticket and pay for expenses, and I'd consider it.   :biggrin_mini2:

Actually, that does look intriguing..

We have some really insane haunted attractions here in the states. As well as some excellent interactive performance pieces. Look up "Sleep No More," which I sadly missed in NYC a couple of years back.

I'm sure this is awesome, though. I'd like to be all "I'd rather see all the cultural sights on a trip to Japan," but really, I'd probably take in something like this as well as the more traditional stuff.

It would be a dual attraction of something like this and a Tokyo Dome show

Not to mention, the novelty of doing japanophile stuff like cosplay in Japan.  ^_^

I'm finally getting Metal Gear HD Collection for the PS3 at Christmas.  Can't wait to revisit those games.

Those do look enticing..

Even though I have no real problem playing games on my PS2.  But it would be kind of neat playing them in HD..

I have found some HD Games do not translate well or at least not every aspect.  I bought the 360 Collector's Edition of RE6 so I have the HD of RE:CVX and RE4.  Since I'm currently living at home with my Pops while looking for a new place I didn't want to unpack all my 360 games.  Since RE4 is just Digital and on the system I fired it up because fuck yes RE4.  A lot of it is nice with the HD but parts are just...wrong.  The items in the Cache Case are very edgy and blocky and a lot of the Ganados look derpy now that we can see their faces better with the improved graphics.

But hey 12 achievements for 1000 points for a game that I have done everything there is to do in on 3 different systems already.  Thanks Capcom :D

Target had dropped the price $10 down to $30 on the collection as well so we went ahead and picked it up.  I'll be interested to see how the game looks.

the re-make of the first game turned out pretty good. The game play controls was updated to the sons of liberty controls, but the game was still intact, but with a LOT more detail. I'm not sure Sons of liberty or Snake Eater need all that much detail added. Maybe just trim down the story ... a few hours.

So is it the first game in the HD collection the Twin Snakes one from the Gamecube, or another remake of the PS1 version?

One thing that stands out when playing it on the PS1, is how floaty the controls are compared to the PS2 games.

It's this one.

Metal Gear Solid (PS1) was available for like $10 on PSN last I looked.  I may pick that up eventually too.
