Well, at least the main event segment was good for a talking segment.

the cool thing about three hour raws is that they show all my guys in the first hour or two and by the time i get burnt out and turn it off i often don't have to see much played out guys.

That's a good way to look at it. Unless you eat your marinara sauce from a jar and still say "Suck it" without a hint of sarcasm, then you just want the 3rd hour.

FAAAANDAAAAANGOOOOOO was great. CM Punk's promo was pretty good.

I know it was a foregone conclusion that Henry and Ryback would win their matches, but the gamesmanship here is spectacular. One week they're seeing who can hit their finisher better, the next they're seeing how many guys they can hoss around. Ryback Shell Shocking two bigger guys (as compared the tiny local jobbers he used to do it to) was impressive.

I thought the main event segment was going to be a train wreck but Rock and Cena made it really good - they brought it on the mic. I'm almost convinced now that Cena is going to lose and snap afterwards, and it's going to be awesome.

The rest of the show was just kinda there, but nothing insulting as per the last several weeks.

It wasn't until the match was over that I realized it was Ryder in the ring with Khali and Gabriel.

They should let Maddox just come out and do or say whatever he wants each week.

I think he already kind of does that.

He has the weirdest promos in the company right now.

In the biggest compliment I could possibly offer him, Maddox has a Pillman-esque quality.

I am curious what makes you think this. I'm not flaming or trolling, just disagreeing.

Maddox has the "Deer in the headlights" cluelessness, but still thinks he's awesome. That's his appeal. I never saw that in Pillman.

He comes across like he is quite prepared to go it alone style wise.  It might be clumsy, but he doesn't seem formulaic like a lot of other guys.  He might very well suck and never get any better, but at the moment it would seem like he has the potential to be charismatic and a bit "out there".  If he is involved in a good program instead of being booked as a bungling jobber, you never know.

I'm not saying he is as good as Pillman was when he started out at all - Pillman was great - but some of the Maddox character and traits are similar.
