Anybody else besides Bront into this?

I am amassing three Jenners. Their names are "Jennergy", "867-5309" and "Bruce".

But my laptop can't handle it, so I'm stuck with with Hawken, that other ftp mech game.

From vids, Mechwarrior does look amazing.

Zandrax, just a fyi, I could slip you some Mechwarrior related ebooks if you want.  I know whenever I'm into a franchise, immersing myself in the lore adds to the enjoyment.

I recommend "Blood of Kerensky", "Wolfpack", or for an in depth look at life in the clans, "Legend of the Jade Phoenix".

Decision At Thunder Rift is probably still my favorite BattleTech/MechWarrior book. But that's probably due to it being the first one I read...

That one was great.  Not my first (That would be Way of the Clans), but one of my favorites. The Marauder seemed like an unstoppable monster.

Until protagonist Grayson Death Caryl gets one of his very own, and all the heat build up from the PPC's turns the mech into a deathtrap..

There's 7 in the saga, and I think I stopped at 3 or 4 in the series, but it got pretty good.

Okay doke.  All 7 books in the Gray Death saga, the Jade Phoenix clan oriented books, Wolf Pack (One of the best they put out, imo), and finally the acclaimed Blood of Kerensky, which is basically supposed to be the best written battletech books in the entire franchise, but which I myself have not read.  (I'll probably read the first novel between Fafhrd and Gray Mouser books.)

Take it or leave it.  And if there's anything specific you wanted, just ask.  ^_^
