NFL Network's top 100 of all time
« on: October 15, 2010, 04:03:33 PM »
Has anyone else been watching this? What are your thoughts about where certain players rank? Having Joe Namath as number 100 is a travesty....he doesn't belong in the top 1000.

He's probably not the 100th best QB of all time.

Jerry Rice had better be #1, is all I have to say.

He's a good choice. Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Lawerence Taylor and Reggie White are solid choices too.

All long lists do this. They always put an unconventional, but recognizable name at #100. The list is basically meaningless past the #15 spot anyway.

Rice should be #1. They won't give it to a QB or any defensive player.

Deion reacts to coming in at #34 on the list.

Deion can kiss my ass. He's rated higher than Rod Woodson, which is wrong to begin with, he was afraid to tackle the other teams' waterboy, and very much like 'Broadway Joe' he's only that high because of his persona.

Screw him.

I'm interested to see where they slot John Unitas. He is, in my opinion, the greatest quarterback to ever play in the NFL.

Jerry Rice should be 2.  The greatest player in the history of the NFL is Jim Brown and it's not close.
