10/13/14 RAW thread
« on: October 13, 2014, 08:08:22 PM »
First time catching RAW from the start live in a few weeks.

Cena vs. Ambrose in 13 days in a pole match.

Cena with his first cringeworthy comment of the night calling it "Hotlanta."

Fun ending to the triple threat tag.  Cena actually did a dive from the top to the floor!  Can't remember the last time he tried that.

Ambrose's Double Arm DDT rules.  Cole called it Dirty Deeds.  Miscall or did they give it the same name as his old finisher?

Fantastic RKO on Dolph.

LOL @ Randy's original cover.

I can't remember the last time I've made it through a Raw without Fast Forwarding. It can be such a chore to watch all the way through.

Looks like they're doing the contract on a pole match tonight.

I fast forwarded pretty much the whole thing until this point.

Do they do Dolph vs. Randy a lot? Probably not but I still feel like I've seen it too much.

I feel like I've seen everything too much right now!

Cept for Ambrose vs. Cena.

The way Chrisley and NeNe have been used tonight has been pretty perfect if you're going to have celebrity guests.  The fact that there were people on one of my other boards whining about this and saying there weren't going to watch because of them is absolutely hilarious.  Seriously, us wrestling fans can be the absolute worst.

Cena put over Ambrose clean to lead to the big Hell in a Cell main event, eh?

That was terrible. Either of them could have ran up and grabbed that contract at any time.

That much was insulting, even by pro rasslin' standards.

This show is too long and unwatchable. UGH!

I hate this time of year. Instead of putting on shitty shows they should have an off season to regroup.

This is the benefit of Brock not being around, now guys like Ambrose and Rollins can main event a PPV and it's still a big deal.

Justin Roberts got released after the Raw last night.

A lot of people at the show had said that Roberts & Michael Cole got in an argument and Roberts flipped off Cole.

Yet Roberts gets told by Kevin "Beaver" Dunn that he's gone.

I wish the WWE would just throw money at J.R. to bring him back and let him do whatever he wants and give Michael Cole the pink slip.

Yet Cole can call Josh Matthews a "faggot" on twitter and keep his job.

Maybe Roberts asked for his release.

I don't think so. Roberts was tweeting pictures from Raw last night and seemed pretty passionate about the WWE. More than likely, Cole knew about Roberts' release and decided to be himself.

Roberts will be on Jericho's podcast Friday so maybe he'll take potshots at Cole (more than likely not because he's a professional unlike Cole).

I liked Cole best as a Miz fanboy.  Now would be a good time for him to reprise that role.

Fantastic RKO on Dolph.

According to Alvarez, that sweet RKO last night was Orton's tribute to the internet fad that has been going on about him lately.

He has a heckuva babyface gimmick if he were to turn. Too bad they'd just screw it up.

I was playing WWE 2K15 today and it reminded me of John Cena's greatest heel move of all time.  Rey Mysterio just won the WWE Title in a one-night tournament?  I'll challenge him now.
