So they build up Bryan for months (at least over a year) just to eliminate him cleanly at the Rumble?

The better pay off would be Bryan winning the Rumble. It would be a great feel-good comeback story, which is applicable in sports. People get behind that.

If I were Daniel Bryan, I would be very pissed off right now and asking for my release. He doesn't go in for career changing surgery just to be a jobber at the Royal Rumble.

Brock not giving a fuck to make Reigns look strong because it's his last match.
Sting vs. HHH is terrible because Sting is 73.
Rock OR Cena vs. Rusev will be terrible for obvious reasons.
