By now the majority of us have seen The Force Awakens. Over 1 billion dollars at the box office and counting makes Episode VII of the Star Wars saga the most profitable to date.
But what does creator George Lucas think of the film? He stated publicly that “Fans will love it”, and LucasFilm President went on record saying George “really liked it”. Well, now we have a more informed answer. Below is the full interview Charlie Rose conducted with “The Maker” about the sale of Star Wars, and the difference in mindset between himself and Disney.

“They wanted to do a retro movie. I don’t like that. Every movie I work very hard to make them completely different, with different planets, with different spaceships, make it new.”
