Mid-South, 1985 – Mid-South Wrestling was one of the hotbed territories during the early 1980s. Owned by “Cowboy” Bill Watts, it saw talent like Andre The Giant, Ernie Ladd, Big John Studd, Dusty Rhodes, The Rock & Roll Express, among many others step into the ring.
One such star studded tag match took place in January 1985. Hated villains Ted Dibiase and “Dr. Death” Steve Williams teamed up to face beloved heroes “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and “Freebird” Terry Gordy. Not only that, it’s under Tornado Rules, which
