You’re reading that correctly, WWE is listing its July 9th PPV in Dallas Texas “Great Balls Of Fire”. It’s also the first PPV to advertise Brock Lesnar, so it looks like that will be Brock’s first televised defene of The WWE Universal Title since he won it at WrestleMania.
Lesnar is not advertised for Sunday’s Payback PPV, nor is he listed for June’s Extreme Rules show. Which will make a full four months between title defenses.
Still, it’s hard not to say “Great Balls Of Fire” without thinking of the classic song by Jerry Lee Lewis.
