Great event.  Easily my favorite Takeover special.  NXT hit a home run tonight.

ROH posted some pics of their event tonight and the crowd did not look impressive. Granted, it's a ballpark and 3,000 spread out can look small, but WWE really hurt them (on purpose) tonight with the NXT special. I have no idea what their problem is with ROH, but I hope it ends soon because I don't want another wrestling company going out of business.

I almost feel bad for Owens and Balor, gonna be hard to top this.

They didn't top it. They had a hell of a match, but nothing topped Banks and Bayley.

Christ on a stick, NXT is light years ahead of the main show.

I have a feeling the SummerSlam crowd is going to piss on a lot of stuff tommorow. Orton and Sheamus may get massively, MASSIVELY crapped on.

Cena/Rollins is guaranteed to end in a schmozz and probably UT/Lesnar as well. So, the crowd will not be very happy. 4 hours is a long time too.

Hi guys.  Holy shit what a crowd tonight.  I hope the "major angle" Meltzer is reporting will happen Monday night is something where NXT and Hunter revolt against Vince and the main roster.   It's time to shake things up.

That's only a good idea if Vince is removed from power, otherwise Finn Balor will be jobbing to Heath Slater because Vince has to win everything even if it hurts him financially.

Listening to the Meltzer post-show, if anyone was curious why the crowd was distracted a couple times during the beginning of the ladder match, it's because a few fans tried to throw streamers into the ring, and they got KICKED OUT. The audience was booing that. A few minutes later they let the fans back in and the crowd started chanting "YES!"

Dave speculated that it was Barclay's that threw them out not knowing the deal with the streamers, and WWE told them to let them back in because streamers are fucking streamers and not anything to get in a tizzy over.

It's hilarious that those were the only streamers in the building tho, and none of them came close to the ring.

I actually was expecting streamers during Liger's entrance and was a little disappointed we didn't get them.

I didn't catch what the crowd was chanting during the opening match. It was to the tune of New Day Rocks/Sucks.

Wasn't it "Full Sail Sucks"?

On NXT TV, every mention of Takeover going to BROOKLYN got booed by the Full Sail faithful.  Owens ripped them to shreds during his promo on the most recent TV episode.

I actually thought the "YES!" chants were for Daniel Bryan returning from the concession stand with cotton candy.

Same. I thought someone spotted Bryan in the stands.
