Series premiere of TWD spinoff is this Sunday night on AMC. Early reviews I've seen look promising.

Episode 1: - thumbs up. I like that it's in L.A. - just because I recognize the landscape. The Tom Cruise movie "Collateral" captured present-day Los Angeles better than any movie I've ever seen, but this was pretty good.

One piece of Walker-science I hope gets answered is why the kids at the school stopped showing up as the Zomb-pocalypse picks up speed. My understanding is that every human is essentially a carrier for the Zombie-virus, but it doesn't kill you on its own. You die however you die, and it turns you, then you come back. So are the kids actually getting sick with something, or is that a cover for something else? I don't see adults getting sick from anything.

didn't get to see it because the Sling Tv app decided that no one using it should watch the show.

I love that this is from the perspective of folks just finding out what is going on as the world is changing around them. Should make for an interesting spin from what we're used to.

I'm liking it, and hoping it doesn't go the way of so many other spinoffs.  Please be Better Call Saul, and not Caprica.  :)

I caught up to speed with this over the week. Strangely enough I haven't watched Walking Dead proper yet, so I have a different take.

It's a little weird watching a show where at any time the could kill a regular. Fortunately I'm not attached to any of the characters yet.

That's how I felt playing the games. 

I still say they should deviate from the comic and kill off Rick.  Carol's been the real main character anyways..

In your defense, once they left that shitty prison where they had to keep coming up with terrible and contrived b-plots, the show got worlds better.
